Have you ever asked yourself:

Why am I here?

Maybe you know Jesus, but you're still wondering what He wants to do with your life. Maybe you've spent years comparing your calling to someone else's. Or perhaps you've allowed your past, your failures, or the expectations of others to tell you who you're supposed to be.

At Xtreme Impact Center, we believe something different.

Your life is not an accident. God created you intentionally, called you personally, and gave you gifts that were never meant to stop with you.

“For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10

But discovering your purpose doesn't begin by asking, “What will make me successful?”

It begins by asking:

“Jesus, who have You created me to be?”

Purpose Begins With Jesus

The world tells us to find ourselves.

Jesus calls us to follow Him.

That's an important difference.

Jesus said:

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

Before God gives us a platform, position, title, or assignment, He calls us into relationship with Him.

Our greatest purpose isn't a career.

It isn't a ministry title.

It isn't becoming influential.

Our first calling is to know Jesus and become more like Him.

Everything else flows from there.

Your Identity Comes Before Your Assignment

Sometimes we become so focused on asking God, “What am I supposed to do?” that we forget to ask Him who we're becoming.

God is interested in both.

You are not defined by your past. You are not defined by your mistakes. You are not defined by what someone else called you. And you don't have to earn your identity through achievement.

When you belong to Christ, your identity is rooted in Him.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Knowing whose you are changes how you understand why you're here.

God Has Put Something in Your Hands

Look throughout Scripture and you'll find people God called from dramatically different backgrounds.

Moses had a staff.

David had a sling.

Dorcas used her hands to serve others.

Peter had a fishing boat.

Paul had an extraordinary ability to communicate and teach.

God doesn't make everyone the same—and the Church isn't supposed to be filled with copies of the same person.

Some people preach.

Some create.

Some lead.

Some teach.

Some sing.

Some build.

Some serve quietly when nobody is watching.

Some have a heart for children. Others for the hurting, the forgotten, the next generation, their neighborhood, or people across the world.

The question isn't whether God can use you.

The question is whether you're willing to place what He's given you back into His hands.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10

You Were Never Meant to Discover Purpose Alone

This is one reason community matters.

God often uses other believers to encourage us, challenge us, teach us, correct us, and recognize things He's placed inside us that we haven't recognized ourselves.

Church was never intended to be somewhere we simply attend.

It's a body we're called to belong to.

It's where disciples are formed.

Where gifts are developed.

Where people learn to serve.

Where faith gets tested in real relationships.

And where we learn that our gifts aren't ultimately about us.

They're about serving others.

From Spectator to Disciple

At Xtreme Impact Center, we don't want people simply sitting in a service week after week wondering whether God could ever use them.

We want to see people encounter Jesus, discover their identity in Christ, become equipped as disciples, develop their God-given gifts, and use those gifts to impact others.

That's part of the heartbeat behind Xtreme Impact Center.

Our roots in creative ministry, outreach, training, and discipleship have shown us something again and again:

God can use ordinary people who are willing to say yes.

Your creativity can become ministry.

Your testimony can bring hope.

Your leadership can serve people.

Your compassion can reach someone everyone else overlooked.

Even the places where God has restored you can become places from which you help others.

You don't need someone else's calling.

You need obedience with yours.

Purpose Isn't Just Something You Find. It's Something You Live.

You may not understand God's entire plan for your life today.

That's okay.

Purpose is often revealed one obedient step at a time.

Follow Jesus today.

Serve someone today.

Develop what God has placed inside you.

Say yes when He calls.

Stay faithful when nobody notices.

And trust Him with where the road leads.

Because ultimately, discovering your purpose isn't about building a life that makes your name known.

It's about surrendering your life so that through it, His name becomes known.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

ENCOUNTER. EQUIP. IMPACT.

There's something powerful about gathering together.

People from different backgrounds. Different stories. Different generations. Some walking closely with Jesus. Some trying to find their way back. Some walking through the doors of a church for the first time.

But if church becomes nothing more than a service we attend once a week, we've missed something beautiful about what Jesus intended.

At Xtreme Impact Center, we believe church isn't simply somewhere you go.

It's a community you belong to, a family you grow with, and a mission you're invited into.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:42

Eye-level view of a vibrant community gathering in a serene outdoor setting

It Starts With Gathering

Every Saturday at 5:00 PM, we gather at Xtreme Impact Center to worship Jesus, hear the Word of God, pray, and experience His presence together.

But we're not gathering simply to fill a room.

We gather because something happens when God's people come together.

We're encouraged.

We're challenged.

We're reminded that we're not walking alone.

We worship alongside people whose stories may look completely different from ours but who are pursuing the same Jesus.

And then comes the important part:

What happens when the service ends?

Because following Jesus was never supposed to stop when we leave the building.

From Rows to Relationships

You can sit near someone every week and still never truly know them.

That's why we believe authentic community has to go deeper than a weekly gathering.

As Xtreme Impact Center grows, small groups will become an important part of how we build community and make disciples.

Small groups create room for something that's difficult to accomplish in a larger service:

To know one another.

To study Scripture together.

To pray together.

To ask difficult questions.

To celebrate victories.

To walk with one another through difficult seasons.

To be challenged.

To be encouraged.

And sometimes, simply to have someone notice when you haven't been around.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

We don't want XIC to become a crowd of strangers who happen to worship in the same room.

We want to become family.

But Community Isn't Supposed to Stay Inside the Church

Jesus didn't tell His disciples to build a comfortable community and keep it to themselves.

He said:

“Go and make disciples of all nations...” — Matthew 28:19

That's why evangelism and outreach are part of the DNA of Xtreme Impact Center.

There are people all around us who may never walk through the doors of a church on their own.

So we want to go to them.

Into our neighborhoods.

Into our communities.

Into places where people are hurting.

Into conversations where someone desperately needs hope.

Not because we're trying to win an argument.

Because we've encountered Jesus—and we want others to know Him too.

The Gospel was never meant to stop with us.

Revitalizing the Xtreme Team

Before there was Xtreme Impact Center, there was Xtreme Team Ministries.

Creative ministry has long been part of our story.

Through the arts, outreach, evangelism, training, and creative expression, Xtreme Team Ministries was built around a desire to reach people with the Gospel and equip the next generation to boldly live for Jesus.

And that part of the story isn't finished.

As Xtreme Impact Center moves forward, we believe there is an opportunity to revitalize Xtreme Team Ministries as an outreach expression of the church—bringing together creativity, ministry, evangelism, and the gifts God has placed within His people.

Because sometimes ministry happens behind a pulpit.

And sometimes it happens through music.

Through drama.

Through dance.

Through art.

Through testimony.

Through serving.

Through a conversation with someone who needs to know that Jesus hasn't forgotten them.

“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” — 1 Corinthians 9:22

The method may change.

The message doesn't.

Jesus still saves.

And we'll use whatever God has placed in our hands to point people toward Him.

There's a Place for Your Gifts Here

One of the things we believe deeply at Xtreme Impact Center is that ministry isn't reserved for the person holding the microphone.

God has placed gifts inside His people.

Maybe you're creative.

Maybe you're a musician.

Maybe you love working with children.

Maybe you're a teacher.

A leader.

An encourager.

A builder.

An organizer.

Maybe you have a heart for evangelism.

Maybe you don't know what your gift is yet.

That's okay too.

Part of being in biblical community is discovering how God has uniquely equipped you—and then learning how to use those gifts to serve others.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

Church changes when we stop asking,

“What does this church have for me?”

and begin asking,

“God, how can You use me?”

Gather. Grow. Go.

That's the kind of community we're building.

We gather to encounter Jesus.

We grow through Scripture, discipleship, relationships, and community.

We go into the world carrying the Gospel and using what God has placed within us to impact others.

Saturday night isn't the finish line.

It's where we're equipped for what happens the other six days of the week.

So whether you've followed Jesus for decades, you're returning to church after being away, or you're still trying to figure out what you believe, there's room for you to come and experience what God is building.

Jesus never invited people to simply believe a set of ideas about Him.

He said:

“Follow me.”

Those two words changed the lives of fishermen, tax collectors, ordinary men and women—and they still carry the same invitation today.

At Xtreme Impact Center, we believe Christianity is more than attending a church service, knowing Scripture, or calling ourselves Christians.

Jesus calls us to become disciples.

A disciple doesn't simply know about Jesus.

A disciple follows Jesus.

Learns from Jesus.

Becomes more like Jesus.

Obeys Jesus.

And eventually helps others follow Jesus too.

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

That's the kind of faith we want to cultivate at Xtreme Impact Center.

Not spectators.

Disciples.

Jesus Didn't Say, “Come Watch Me.”

When Jesus called His first disciples, He didn't hand them a religious checklist.

He invited them into relationship.

They walked with Him.

They listened to Him.

They watched how He treated people.

They witnessed His compassion.

They saw Him confront sin.

They watched Him pray.

They asked questions.

They made mistakes.

They were corrected.

They were challenged.

And eventually, Jesus sent them out to do what they had watched Him do.

That's discipleship.

It's not merely acquiring more biblical information.

It's allowing Jesus to transform the way we live.

“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.” — John 8:31

Discipleship Happens Beyond Saturday

We love gathering together.

Every Saturday at 5:00 PM, Xtreme Impact Center comes together to worship, pray, hear God's Word, and encounter Jesus as a community.

But Sunday through Friday matter too.

Because discipleship happens when Scripture changes the conversation you have on Monday.

When you choose forgiveness on Tuesday.

When you pray even though you don't feel like praying on Wednesday.

When temptation comes on Thursday and you choose obedience.

When God gives you an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus on Friday.

And when you gather again on Saturday—not simply looking for another spiritual experience, but ready to worship the One you've been walking with all week.

Church isn't supposed to be one spiritual moment surrounded by six days of living however we want.

Following Jesus touches everything.

Discipleship Requires Community

Following Jesus is personal.

But it was never intended to be private.

The New Testament repeatedly shows believers learning, praying, serving, worshiping, giving, eating, struggling, and growing together.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

That's why community and small groups are important to the future of Xtreme Impact Center.

We want to create spaces where people can move beyond simply recognizing one another at church and begin doing life together.

Places where you can ask questions.

Where someone can pray with you.

Where Scripture can be explored together.

Where victories can be celebrated.

Where struggles don't have to remain hidden.

Where accountability comes from relationship rather than judgment.

Because sometimes God uses another disciple to show us the places where He's still transforming us.

Following Jesus Will Cost You Something

There's another side of discipleship we can't ignore.

Jesus never advertised following Him as a path to comfort.

He talked about surrender.

Obedience.

Sacrifice.

Taking up a cross.

There will be moments when following Jesus means saying no to something you want because He has something different.

Moments when Scripture confronts something inside you.

Moments when forgiveness feels impossible.

Moments when obedience costs you.

Moments when Jesus asks you to leave something behind.

That's why discipleship isn't simply about adding Jesus to the life we've already built.

It's surrendering our lives to Him.

“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” — 1 John 2:6

We won't always get it right.

We're still growing.

But disciples keep following.

Disciples Become Servants

The closer we become to Jesus, the harder it becomes to ignore people.

Because Jesus served.

He noticed people others overlooked.

He touched people others avoided.

He welcomed people others rejected.

He washed His disciples' feet.

And ultimately, He gave His life.

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” — Mark 10:45

So at Xtreme Impact Center, serving isn't simply about filling volunteer positions.

Serving is part of becoming like Jesus.

Whether you're using your gifts inside the church, helping someone in your neighborhood, serving through outreach, participating in Xtreme Team, encouraging someone who's hurting, or sharing the Gospel with someone who doesn't know Christ—service turns our attention outward.

We stop asking:

“What can I get?”

And begin asking:

“Jesus, who can I serve?”

Disciples Make Disciples

Jesus' final command wasn't:

Go build an audience.

It wasn't:

Go become influential.

It wasn't even:

Go get people to attend church.

He said:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...” — Matthew 28:19

That means discipleship eventually turns outward.

Someone helped you.

Eventually, you help someone else.

Someone prayed with you.

Eventually, you're praying with someone else.

Someone taught you Scripture.

Eventually, you're opening Scripture with someone else.

Someone told you about Jesus.

Eventually, you're telling someone else.

That's how the Gospel moves.

Disciples make disciples.

This Is Why Evangelism Matters

Evangelism isn't reserved for pastors, missionaries, or people who are naturally outgoing.

If you've encountered Jesus, you have a story.

You don't need to know the answer to every theological question.

You can tell someone:

Who you were. How you encountered Jesus. And what He's doing in your life.

Xtreme Impact Center's roots have always included evangelism and creative outreach, and as we move forward, we want to continue carrying the Gospel beyond the walls of the church.

Through personal conversations.

Through community outreach.

Through acts of service.

Through creative ministry.

And through the revitalization of Xtreme Team Ministries as an expression of evangelism and outreach.

Different methods.

Same Gospel.

Because people don't simply need another event.

They need Jesus.

Your Gifts Have a Purpose

Discipleship doesn't erase what makes you unique.

It teaches you how to surrender it to God.

Your creativity.

Your leadership.

Your voice.

Your compassion.

Your testimony.

Your ability to teach.

Your ability to organize.

Your ability to build.

Your ability to encourage.

Whatever God has placed within you can become an instrument for His Kingdom when it's surrendered to Him.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10

We want Xtreme Impact Center to be a place where people don't simply discover their gifts.

We want them equipped to use them.

From Encounter to Impact

This is the heartbeat we're building around:

ENCOUNTER.EQUIP.IMPACT.

Encounter Jesus.

Not religion. Not performance. Not simply another church service.

Jesus.

Be equipped.

Grow in Scripture. Learn to pray. Build authentic relationships. Discover your gifts. Become more like Christ.

Make an impact.

Serve. Love people. Share the Gospel. Use your gifts. Make disciples. Carry Jesus into your family, workplace, neighborhood, and community.

Because the goal isn't simply to fill seats on Saturday.

The goal is to send disciples into the world.

Your Next Step Starts With Yes

You don't need to have everything figured out before following Jesus.

Neither did the first disciples.

You simply have to respond when He calls.

Maybe your next step is returning to church.

Maybe it's opening your Bible again.

Maybe it's joining community instead of trying to follow Jesus alone.

Maybe it's serving.

Maybe it's sharing your testimony.

Maybe God has been asking you to surrender something you've been holding onto.

Whatever that next step is:

Say yes.

Then take another step.

And another.

That's discipleship.

Not perfection.

Following.
